This project grew out of a desire to share a simple lesson I learned about the true meaning of the word GOD. During the process of studying commentaries, Hebrew-Greek word studies and history books, I realized that Truth is simple. Man has complicated what God meant to be simple.
I care about Trinitarians as Paul cared for the Jews. Paul had been a Jewish pharisee before he came to know who Jesus really was; I was a Trinitarian. Paul had a burden for his people because Jesus came for the Jew first and then the Gentile. I have a burden for Trinitarians because they do not know who Jesus really is. Paul was outspoken against Judaizers that put the burden of Jewish law on the new Gentile Christians. If I appear outspoken, it is not my intention to offend; but I must run the risk of offending because the risk of silence is far greater. I believe that as a result of Trinitarian indoctrination over the centuries and the activities of the orthodox church to silence believers opposed to the Trinity, that God’s Word has been distorted and the truth of Yehovah’s solitary nature has been undermined.
The Jews were the established people of God for over 4,000 years before the birth of Jesus. Their theology was endorsed by Jesus in John 4:22 and Mark 12:29. Yet, because they rejected Jesus as Messiah, it has been determined by the orthodox Christian church that their concept of God being an absolute one, alone in creation, is false.
Instead of understanding and accepting the basic truth (that there is one solitary GOD) Trinitarians have made fundamental errors in drawing their conclusions. They have made assumptions about God promoted by a lack of understanding, political powers and popular opinion, rather than Biblical evidence. As a result of these assumptions, they manipulate the texts of the Bible to correlate with their interpretation instead of revising their interpretation to correlate with the texts. Just because something has been accepted by the masses for 1700 years does not make it right, accurate, or Biblical.
It is my belief that Trinitarians are God-loving people who are sincere in their desire to obey God’s Word. It is also my personal experience to have known Trinitarians who believed that the absolute solitary nature of God is accurate and true; but they refused to adopt it personally because their life would experience an upheaval.
That brings us back to the question asked at the beginning of this paper: Why is it so important? The Savior of the world cannot be known as he should if our concept of him is that he is one third of a God. His sacrifice cannot be appreciated as it should be if we believe he came to suffer and die resulting from the initiative of one of the other members of the Godhead. We cannot possess a full measure of respect for the incarnate second person of the Trinity who carried out the orders of the first person of the Trinity without possessing any knowledge of the total outcome. God cannot be loved to the degree to which we are commanded when we do not comprehend that Almighty God, the Creator, the first cause, decided from the foundation of the world to robe himself in flesh because he wanted mankind to experience the riches of His eternal fellowship. If God cannot be loved to the highest degree, we cannot love our fellow man to a higher degree.
Last, but certainly not least, we cannot know God if we view Him to be a three-member corporative body, when in actuality He is a solitary ONE Deity. God is to be worshipped in spirit and truth (John 4:24). If our view of Him is totally inaccurate, how can that be accomplished? The God of the Bible is a different God than the God of Trinitarian doctrine. John 17:3 states: And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. If God is not known as He really is, how can one receive life eternal? Am I making a credal statement expressing that anyone not believing in God as a solitary one God will perish everlastingly? I hope that believers of Jesus being Immanuel, God with us never become guilty of making the same mistake that their Trinitarian predecessors made.
Jesus commissioned us to go, preach, teach and baptize. Nothing was ever mentioned about judging; in fact we were commanded not to judge one another. Only Jesus, God manifest in the flesh, has the ability to know a man’s heart. Only Jesus can grant mercy and render judgement appropriately. David understood the danger of man’s judgement; that is why he submitted himself to the wrath of God when given the choice.
The orthodox Christian church has determined that I am a heretic and a member of a cult because of my beliefs concerning Jesus Christ being God in flesh. I have been accused of being involved in an organization that believes we have revived a lost doctrine of the Bible. This doctrine of God living in Jesus as the one true God has never been dead, only persecuted, exiled, and temporarily silenced. We cannot read historical documentation of our heritage because it has been destroyed. We do not even know their names in many cases. We do know of Priscillian in 385, Michael Servetus in 1553, John Miller in 1876. The persecution by death and destruction has been restrained for now, and we cannot be silenced, we must not be silenced.
I left a Trinitarian church after I came to an understanding of Who Jesus Really Is not because I wanted to leave but because if I remained it meant either denying this wonderful truth by my silence or causing division by speaking out. God loved enough to break the silence. Paul loved enough to overcome the silence. It is my burning desire to have someone, anyone, who presently is a Trinitarian, come to an understanding and acknowledgment that GOD (all Deity) was manifest in the flesh of Jesus Christ. With that desire in mind, I must not be silent.
